In July, the European Commission launched the Hydrogen Mechanism under the EU Energy and Raw Materials Platform. This online platform is designed as a one-stop tool to connect European companies with reliable energy and raw materials supply chains.

📌 Supports infrastructure planning by highlighting gaps and investment needs.
📌 Facilitates access to financing by providing visibility on available financial instruments.
📌 Increases market transparency by making information easier to access for both suppliers and off-takers.
Importantly, the Hydrogen Mechanism is not a stand-alone tool: the platform also covers natural gas, biomethane, and raw materials.
